Taiwan reports its highest number of Chinese warplane incursions in eight months, underscoring Beijing’s ongoing military pressure despite regional and global distractions.

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) has recorded the largest number of incursions by Chinese military aircraft crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait in the past eight months. A total of 46 aircraft, including fighters, bombers, drones, and helicopters, entered Taiwan’s self-declared Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) over the northern, southwestern, and eastern sectors.
