The Organization of American States (OAS), under the leadership of its new Secretary General Albert Ramdin, has sounded calls urging member nations to prioritize "humanitarian" treatment in deportation processes. Speaking from Antigua and Barbuda ahead of the OAS General Assembly, Ramdin emphasized the importance of respecting the human rights of migrants being returned to their home countries.
