The Venezuelan Armed Forces have once again demonstrated their commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty by intercepting and disabling an unauthorized aircraft that violated the country’s airspace. This operation took place near San Fernando de Apure, a region known for its proximity to Colombia and its vulnerability to illicit cross-border activities. Commander Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of Venezuela’s Strategic Operations, confirmed that the seized aircraft was a C-210 plane operating without any approved flight plan from the National Aeronautics Institute or proper authorization from the Flight Information Region authorities.
